The Annoying Fever of Diaper Cakes for Baby Showers

Have you ever been annoyed at anything in your life? Most likely the answer will be yes, for those lucky enough to never have experience this please stop reading this as it will be a utter waste of time to you.

One thing that has me really annoyed lately is diaper cakes for baby showers. Yes, you read correctly.
I’m not particular annoyed with diaper cakes as I think they are great gifts that are both practical and visually pleasing to the eyes. However, they seem to be in every single baby showers I have been to lately. In a time not so distant to our own, it used to be something even wondrous as it was an uncommon sight to see a non edible “cake” made of diapers. Now it is nothing more than a non creative “typical” gift for parents.

Where is the creativity? Where is the wonder in nowadays age?
Alas, I find myself invited once again to one of these annoying gathering next. I just hope it won’t be a model I have already seen before.

Diaper Cakes

This morning, I was watching my favorite tv show The Suite Life Of Zack And Cody. The show was really funny and until now, I still watch it every single day. As I was watching, my Mom was setting up the house for my Sister’s baby shower. My Mom bought a few things to get the house ready like banners, table cloths, confetti and two baby shower diaper cakes. At the end of the episode, I went up to my room and got ready. I also had to finish some school work, so the day got kinda hectic. The party started at around 7:00pm and lasted all the way until 4:00am. We have a lot of family members who like to stay late, so every get together lasts until some time in the morning. It was fun and we got to reunite with all of our close friends and family. What got even better, was that they replayed the episode that I watched earlier at 2:00am.
