Marching bands from high schools and colleges around the country practice long hours not only with their music, but also for the precision of their choreography. People do not realize how much practice and awareness on the part of each individual bank member it takes to produce the smooth flow and straight lines of the marching band. These are some of the things bands are judged on in competition and it is as rigorous as the skills of the football teams they play for.
